The Desire is the starting point to all achievements. “When you have a burning desire to achieve something, the whole universe conspires to help you to achieve your goal“. I found this line in a book named ‘The Alchemist’. You may have read the book. Back to the point, the burning desire is a first step towards Success.

Remember, there are 13 steps to the Success. To reach at the top, you first must climb these steps. You already have a burning desire, what’s next? Yeah, Faith in yourself. Let’s get started!

Henry had purchased the book written by his uncle John. When he read the title, he got confused because the title was ‘How to generate Positive Energy?’. He was confused. He opened the Preface of the book. There he got an idea about the book. He read the book which he desired to.

After few days, Henry’s mother got seriously injured in an accident. There came her hope true. When this news reached to John, he rushed back to Monaco to his younger sister’s aid.

Anne was very delighted to see her brother with her. John was tensed for her sister and Henry. Anne’s husband named Simon died when Henry was 4 years old. Anne was the only working woman in the family. They had heated talks with their relatives. So, they had no one to their aid. John thought of Henry that he should attain his goals so as to become support to his mother in her old age. He convinced Anne to send her son with him in order to get higher studies. Anne thought off a moment and said, “Yes!”.

There came a big break for Henry.

Henry never thought of leaving Monaco. He didn’t know what would be going to happen with him. He was going to New York with his uncle John. That was a first time when he travelled through airplane.

While flying to New York, John saw a book tucked in Henry’s hand. He asked him about that book. Henry closed the book and saw him the cover of the book. John was shocked that how this boy, belonging to a poor family, was able to purchase the book which worth 50$. He asked him how he had purchased it. Henry told him about his work at a tea shop for more than 3 years.

Hearing that, John understood that he was full of enthusiasm and energy and had understood the power of Desire.

Reaching New York, John made Henry’s admission in a popular school. John knew that he had to teach him the secrets of success. He knew very well that Henry would face many failures but he should have faith in himself. John was confused that how to teach him as he didn’t want just to explain, but wanted him to feel like that. He was looking for an opportunity. There’s one quote,

“The Almighty will pave the way if you want to walk on it for doing good!”

And it happened.

The boy was facing constant failures. He wanted to score good in studies but he couldn’t. He came to his uncle and told him everything. His uncle smiled and said, “You already learnt what is desire. You are desiring to achieve good marks but you can’t. Why? It is because you don’t have faith in yourself. Believe in yourself.” The boy understood what his uncle said. But he had a little confusion, so he asked, “Does it really work?” The man gave a sweet smile and went to his room.

The very next day, daughter of his uncle, named Scarlett; arrived home. She was overjoyed as she had passed exams of Law with excellent results. John introduced her with Henry.
Both Bro-Sis had lots of talks. In a gossip, Henry asked her that how she scored very good. Scarlett told him a secret. She said, “When I was a small child, Dad used to tell me midnight stories of criminal cases. I thought that I would be an advocate who fights against injustice. Dad planted a seed of becoming advocate in my mind through those stories. And 4 years ago, when I started studying Law, Dad planted an another seed – to pass exams with outstanding results.” The boy was confused because he also desired to achieve good marks but he couldn’t. He asked her whether she had only desired or put something with it. She told, “Kid, only desiring do not work. You must believe in yourself that you will achieve it.” The boy understood that his uncle was saying truth.

Now, he had understood the second secret of success. Now he had Faith in himself. He worked hard and scored the first rank in his class. John was now satisfied that Henry was learning the secrets of success.

Desire is backed by Faith. You must have Faith in yourself. If you are only desiring without believing in your guts, you cannot achieve it.

You will be failed numerous times but you must have the power to resist it. Failures are good as you learn something from them. The main thing comes here that how to develop Faith?

How to Develop Faith?

The only way to develop Faith is repetition. That is mere purpose of writing your definite goal on paper and repeat it aloud twice a day.

The subconscious mind will do what you will tell it. There are two types of thoughts. First is Positive and Constructive and second is negative and destructive. Your subconscious mind cannot find a difference in thoughts that first is positive and that one is negative. It is not possible. You have control over your thoughts. If you allow destructive thoughts to dominate over your mind, your subconscious mind will convert them into physical equivalent. But if you start repeating positive thoughts to achieve your goals, your subconscious mind will give you results. That is what it is.

Below is an extract from the chapter 3 – Faith:
FAITH is the head chemist of the mind. When FAITH is blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.

At the end of this, believe in yourself if you want to achieve something. Keep working at it. I had said and saying again, be consistent and disciplined to what you are doing. Consistency is very important while running behind your goals.

Consider Failure as your friend. You will meet him when you stop working consistently. Remember this line. When you lack motivation, just think of all successful persons. They were just like you.
