Yesterday someone says, “Reading means Kidding!” How many of you believe this statement? No one? Okay. But it seems weird. Reading is the best habit you can have. Nothing is better than that. But some of us believe that, “Reading means Kidding”. Let’s elaborate on it. Let’s get started!
As I said reading is the best habit to develop, it is because reading has many advantages. Today we are going to discuss on reading, it’s advantages and reason of the heading.
Reading means Feeding!
According to me, reading means feeding. Reading feeds you, your mind with knowledge. Reading enables your mind to think of different types of things.
Truly saying, I also hadn’t a habit of reading. I even didn’t like reading. I always considered it as a part of studying. And I hate studying. But now, I have a habit of reading. Not so much read yet but yes, I read a book named ‘The Alchemist’. It is the best book. I am feeling lucky that I started my journey of reading with such an amazing book.
So, coming to the point, reading is the best. The question arises that why should we read? We have technology and we can acquire any sort of information easily through this Internet. Then why should we read? We have the greatest invention occurred in this world, i.e., Google. Then why should we waste our time in reading? We can simply open the YouTube and search for the videos related to information we need. So simple, yeah? But still we should read. Let’s see the why should we read.
1. Increases Knowledge.
Reading increases knowledge. It provides you so many information you desired to have. Reading means Feeding. Feed your mind with good sort of information you are interested in.
2. Entertainer.
Have you read the famous comic book ‘Tinkle’? I swear you will love it. I also read many and even I always read in my school library.
Books are entertainers. They entertain you with fabulous and funny stories. Do you know the difference between a story book and comic book? It lights in my mind when our principal asked us. The only difference is a comic contains the pictures depicting conversation while a story book is a line to line story with no pictures. I hate such books.
3. Makes you better.
There are certain books which are related to self-development. Books of such type make you better version of yourself.
When I started blogging, I used to read books which are related to blogging. But soon after I started this site, I always try to found the best sort of books related to self-development topics and truths of life. I am currently reading the book written by Napoleon Hill ‘Think and Grow Rich’.
4. Teach you the best.
Books teach you the best. No common man can write. It requires knowledge. The Author of the book always tries to share the information which he/she already has through the simplest way available in this planet. As I asked you why should we read, it is because through this YouTube, there is no guarantee that you are getting the right information. The author always tests what he wants to write. The YouTuber can blackmail you that if the viewers won’t like his video, then he will not share the information. That is what it is.
The Books teach you the best.
But it isn’t 100% true that technology is not helpful. It is very helpful. Not every YouTuber do like I said, there are also some people who are interested in sharing instead of earning.
5. Readers are Leaders.
Readers are Leaders. Do you know that Bill Gates always aim to read 50 books a year? Every successful person you are desiring to be, is a reader. They are Leaders because they are Readers. They never stop to acquire information. One who thinks that learning period overs when one finishes the school, he is unsuccessful.
Books are proven the best friend of all millionaires and billionaires. If you don’t believe me, then try it. You will see the outcomes by your own. So, Readers are Leaders.
6. It never damages.
The main reason of reading is that it never damages.
Technology damages. It is only when we overuse it. A book never damages whether we over read it or not. This is the main reason that why should we read.
Overusing technology is harmful. It damages your body especially your eyes. It is damaging your eyes currently now. It connects us with the people we don’t know but it disconnects us from the people we love. It is the harsh truth about technology.
At the end of this, I conclude that Reading means Feeding. Start feeding your mind with books. Start reading the books. Aim to read 1 book a year, a month, or a week. I aimed to read two books a year. Thank you so much for reading! Keep inspiring and motivating!
