Rain [Poetry]

The monsoon begins,
The rain begins to pour,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

The thunder begins,
The lightning seems the brightest,
I’m at home,
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

The peacock begins to dance,
The grasshopper gets outside his home,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

Little children feels relief from heat,
Get outside the house and begin to bath,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

Farmers get delighted,
Comparing every drop to gold,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

Shops are decorated
With raincoats and umbrellas,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.

All are very happy but,
Students are upset because,
A teacher has given an essay on Rain,
I’m at home
Seeing every drop falling on the Earth.
